Children’s paintings

On October 25, 2014, Sumisho Global Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., under the leadership of Dr. Yuichi Tadokoro made a charitable donation to support the handicrafts of women and children in an emergency shelter. Additionally, they contributed essential items to the Emergency Shelter Project organized by the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women, an organization patronized by Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, Krommaun Suddhanarinatha. The donation was gratefully received by Ms. Usa Lertsrisantat, Director of the Association.

SGLT had the privilege of supporting The Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women, an organization dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. As a heartfelt token of appreciation, the association presented SGL with 17 paintings, each one crafted by the children in their care. For these young artists, drawing is not only a way to express their emotions but also a therapeutic activity that brings moments of joy and relaxation.

Each of these paintings tells a unique story, reflecting the resilience, creativity, and dreams of the children who created them. To honor their courage and celebrate the partnership between SGLT and the association, these 17 paintings will be framed and displayed at SGLT Headquarters and across all our branches.

This initiative is a reminder of SGLT commitment to making a positive impact beyond business—supporting education, creativity, and well-being for those who need it most. We invite all SGLT staff to take pride in this contribution, knowing that our support is helping to fund scholarships and provide brighter futures for these children.
