SGL – SUMISHO GLOBAL LOGISTICS (THAILAND) CO., LTD., - HELD A GRAND OPENING CEREMONY OF PRACHINBURI BRANCH

Sumisho Global Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., held the grand opening ceremony of a new branch at 304 industrial park in Prachinburi province on March 27^th, 2014. Mr. Tatsuro Tazaki, the chairman, and the distinguished guests officiated the opening ceremony among the representatives from SGL and alliance partners to congratulate on SGL’s grand opening with the aim of expansion and development.

The new branch in Prachinburi province is a locale garnering attention as the next largest industrial complex after the huge cluster in the Rayong/ Chonburi area. Moreover, the location is close to the Cambodian border (about 120 km in distance), which is expectedly foreseen as an area of further business expansion. At the same time, there are a few companies offering logistics services in this province, so we enhanced our logistics network in Thailand and enabled it to become an important facility for the continued growth of GMS (Greater Mekong Sub-region) throughout AEC (ASEAN Economic Community).
